AI research

Pioneering Retroductive AI.

A new form of ampliative intelligence, built for the frontier where the known runs into the unknown. It thinks natively in concepts, understands entire systems and follows scrutinisable, white-box lines of reasoning. The ultimate goal? To uncover root causes and, above all, the mechanisms driving them.

The problem & our solution

Today’s AI excels at predicting from the observed. Uncovering the unobserved is another matter altogether.

AI as we know it is extraordinary at retrieving, recombining and recognising what is already known, but complex chronic disease lives exactly where our knowledge wears thin: across systems, across disciplines, and in the individual patients who do not fit the textbook. Patients like our founder.

We are the research lab pioneering Retroductive AI, and our first application is the toughest test we know: uncovering the root-cause mechanisms behind individual manifestations of complex disease. The ultimate goal? To inform personalised treatment design and precision therapeutics.

Who we are looking for

Help us build a new kind of AI.

  • Research & data partners

Research groups, clinicians, data and infrastructure providers with skills or resources that complement ours. Propose a collaboration

  • Pilot sites

Clinics, and pharma, biotech and diagnostics teams with complex, unexplained or entirely new medical cases. Bring us your toughest cases

  • Funders & investors

Grant bodies, foundations, and mission-aligned investors backing a new form of artificial intelligence. Fund the research

Also: expert opinion, speaking, and a way for patients to take part.

Crack the code, together

Bring the problem nobody has cracked yet.

The messy dataset, the half-formed hypothesis, the case three specialists could not explain. We will pull it apart with you, test ideas and find the thread that ties it all together.
