Parijata Labs is an independent AI research lab and advisory practice in Cyprus. We build cognitive models for complex, multi-system disease, and help biomedical organisations use AI with rigour.
Mission
Make complex illness legible, to patients, clinicians and researchers.
People with complex chronic conditions often spend years between specialists, each seeing one part of the picture. We believe AI can help connect those parts, if it is built to reason transparently and designed with patients rather than merely about them.
Origin
Parijata Labs began with a personal question. Our founder spent years living with a complex chronic illness, the kind that does not show up neatly on a single test, while working professionally as an AI architect and data scientist. From both sides, the gap was obvious: the data existed, but the tools to reason across it did not.
The lab is the attempt to build those tools properly: grounded in science, honest about uncertainty, and shaped by the people who live with these conditions.

The name
Pārijāta: the tree from the churning of the ocean.
In Indian mythology, the pārijāta is one of the treasures that rose from the churning of the cosmic ocean: a celestial tree later brought to earth. Botanically it is the night-flowering jasmine, whose white, orange-stemmed flowers open after dusk and fall before sunrise.
We chose it because our work happens in similar conditions: in the long night of undiagnosed and poorly understood illness, through patient and sustained effort, in the hope of something that blooms.
